Ok so I've been lagging on posting up to date info on here, but it's mostly cause I've been busy recording new music!!! so that's a good thing right?
Song: Who Am I (this will open in a new window)
Background: I tripled up the acoustic guitar parts on this one using a Sterling Audio SP 50 condenser mic for the high freq with thin guitar pick, Shure SM57 for the mid freq with a med guitar pick and the MXL 40 Ribbon mic for the low freq with a think guitar pick. Then I panned the high freq left, the low freq right and centered the SM57 mid freq. I was very impressed with the sound I got not to mention very little post production EQ was needed. Goes to show that getting it right from the start and at the source pays off in end.
Gear:
Acoustic Guitar: Epiphone Hummingbird Artist
Electric Guitar: Squire Fender Telecaster
Bass: Squire Fender P-Bass
Drums: Programed
Vocals: Sterling Audio SP 50 condenser mic
